1. Introduction

Welcome to GLS Construction! We’re a San Jose-based remodeling company focused on transforming kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces into functional, beautiful environments. By working with us, you’re agreeing to the terms below. They’re here to make sure we’re both on the same page from start to finish.

2. Definitions

Services: Any remodeling, renovation, design, or construction work completed by GLS Construction.
Client: The individual, household, or business engaging GLS Construction for remodeling services.

3. Services Overview

GLS Construction proudly offers a range of services to enhance your space, including:

Kitchen remodeling with custom layouts and modern finishes
Bathroom renovations with spa-inspired upgrades
Energy-efficient solutions like LED lighting and eco-conscious materials
Safety-focused installations and structural improvements
Residential and commercial renovation projects, big or small

4. Quotations and Pricing

Validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they’re issued.
Adjustments: After that period, pricing may be revised based on material cost changes or updates to your project scope.

5. Payment Terms

Every project is different, so we keep payment terms flexible based on the work involved. The exact payment structure, including deposits and progress payments, will be agreed upon by both parties before the project begins and will be documented in the contract or project agreement. Everything will be clearly written out so both sides are on the same page from day one.

6. Client Responsibilities

To help your project stay on track, we ask that you:

Provide access to the site during working hours
Ensure a safe working environment for our crew
Let us know about any prior construction, plumbing, or electrical details that could affect the work

7. Warranties and Guarantees

We care about quality—and we stand by it.

Installation Warranty: We’ll provide specific warranty details depending on your project.
Material Warranty: Manufacturer warranties will apply where relevant.

All warranties will be discussed and confirmed in writing before the work begins.

8. Limitation of Liability

Although we always aim for top results, we’re not liable for:

Indirect or unexpected losses (like lost income or project delays due to third parties)
Issues caused by products, suppliers, or subcontractors outside our control

Delays due to permit approvals, supply chain issues, or unforeseen site conditions

9. Intellectual Property

Designs, floor plans, renderings, or custom layouts created by GLS Construction remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed upon. We’re happy to give you full access for your use—but we retain creative ownership.

10. Privacy Policy

11. Termination

Client Termination: You may end the project at any point with written notice. Work already completed and any non-refundable expenses, such as materials, permits, or services already rendered, will still need to be covered.
GLS Construction Termination: We reserve the right to cancel a project due to breach of terms, non-payment, or safety concerns, with proper notice.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of California.
